I am aware that the size I have is not the standard 2” size, which is why I included a second set of files for a larger size. But handle length does matter, so check that yours are about 57 mm long. I assume it is a pretty common variation. Just the most economical source of binder clips I could find when I bought a bunch). It is a 51x 25mm clip, which I bought here (It’s not an affiliate link. The difference is the power source: the only non-printed part is a binder clip as the energy storage element. Only 96 g is required (less if you don’t use full infill like I did), and it is a completely supportless design. Unlike several 3D printed mousetrap designs, this one doesn’t tilt a container, drop the mouse into a bucket, or use a sliding noose released by a string the mouse must chew through-it is operatively very similar to the classic, minimal, time-tested mousetrap design. But I’ll throw this one in for consideration anyway. The world has no shortage of designs for mousetraps, and even 3D printed ones.
